After four years of intense design and development work, Candela kicked off serial production at the end of 2018. We are now delivering the first batch of boats to customers – super exciting! – and during the fall we’ll start scaling up production. For that effort we want to recruit a number of passionate and talented team members.We are currently 18 people based in our Gåshaga facility on Lidingö, growing fast. As a team we are very diverse, covering 11 nationalities and specialties ranging from electronics design to composite lamination. We love and are 100% focused on what we do, but are at the same time conscious about finding an acceptable balance with our lives outside Candela. Do you want to be part of the team building the boat of the future?Candela Speed Boat is leading the transformation to an all-electric future of boating. The second prototype – built in carbon fiber, with Li-ion batteries, a fully integrated control system and hydrofoil technology – is currently going through final testing in the waters outside Stockholm.We are a team of 18 based in our facility in Gåshaga on Lidingö. The order book is full, and the first boats will be delivered their owners this summer. We’re now looking to expand the team who is building the boats in Gåshaga. Work tasks will include one or more of below:• Electric and hydraulic installation• Mechanical component assembly• Mounting equipment and accessories• Lamination, sanding, cutting, painting of carbon fiber partsExperience or education within any of above disciplines is a plus, but not a requirement. More important is an inclination for practical hands-on work, an ability to learn fast and appreciation of working in a fast-moving team.
