We are now hiring a Full Stack Developer to own the software layer that connects our hardware to the people and businesses using it. If you want to build software systems that control real energy infrastructure and see your code making a meaningful impact, we would love to hear from you. As a Full Stack Developer at Rebaba you will own the full stack, from backend and database to frontend, app, and web development. This is a hands-on role where you take responsibility for the systems that monitor, control, and report on our BESS units in the field. You will get the chance to join and build a true dream team.
Responsibilities
Own full stack development - backend, database, frontend, app development, and web development
Design and build backend services and APIs that connect to our BESS units and support our commercial and internal tools
Work with data pipelines and messaging between our hardware and cloud systems, including MQTT-based telemetry
Build and maintain databases (Postgres) that store operational, monitoring, and compliance data
Develop and maintain web applications and internal dashboards
Build and maintain mobile apps for iOS and Android where needed
Write scripts and tooling to support development, testing, deployment, and operations
Collaborate closely with embedded and electronic engineers to integrate software with physical hardware
Develop machine learning models and data pipelines for advanced battery analytics
Feed technical insights back to the team to sharpen our product and platform

Requirements
You have an exceptional track record of getting things done and making things happen
You have hands-on experience across the stack: Postgres, REST APIs, NodeJS, scripting, and web development.
You have built smartphone applications (Android and/or iOS) in the past.
You are well-versed in novel machine learning techniques and comfortable working with big data streams.
Experience with MQTT or other embedded messaging protocols is a strong plus
You are eager to learn and comfortable figuring things out as you go
You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with fast decision cycles and high autonomy
You are excited about clean energy and want to build something you believe in

We are now hiring a Mechanical Design & Product Development Engineer who wants to take mechanical concepts from sketch to real, field-ready products.
Responsibilities
Design mechanical parts, assemblies, and enclosures, both small modules and larger system components
Build and test prototypes, iterate quickly, and refine designs based on performance, safety, manufacturability, and cost
Take products from early concept to final, production-ready designs through structured, iterative development
Design for manufacturing, assembly, installation, and circularity across all mechanical components
Evaluate and optimise thermal performance, ventilation, airflow, insulation, and fire-related design considerations
Select materials based on sustainability, durability, circularity, and cost
Support certification and compliance work related to mechanical design, including enclosure standards and safety requirements
Work closely with electrical and software teams to ensure alignment with electronics, wiring, cooling, and control systems
Prepare manufacturing documentation including drawings, BOMs, tolerances, and assembly instructions
Collaborate with suppliers and participate in sourcing decisions

Requirements
Strong skills in mechanical CAD such as SolidWorks, Fusion, or similar
Experience designing enclosures, structural components, or industrial products
Understanding of manufacturing methods such as sheet metal, machining, plastics, composites, and welded structures
Experience with thermal design, airflow, ventilation, and fire-related considerations
Knowledge of material selection for performance, sustainability, and circularity

We are now hiring a Software & Embedded Systems Engineer who wants to own and build the entire digital layer of our battery systems. As a Software and Embedded Systems Engineer at Rebaba you will work across embedded firmware, cloud communication, backend, and simple frontends. This is a hands-on engineering role where you take responsibility for the full chain from microcontroller to customer facing dashboard. You will work closely with our electronics and mechanical teams and play a key part in how our systems operate in the field.

What you will do
Own the complete data and control pipeline: device ? cloud ? backend ? dashboard.
Develop and maintain firmware for our microcontrollers, including CAN communication with batteries, inverters, sensors, and system components.
Connect devices to the cloud through MQTT and manage stable, secure data flows.
Build and maintain backend infrastructure in Postgre for operational and diagnostic data.
Create lightweight frontends to visualise energy flows, alarms, and system status.
Integrate third-party APIs such as spot prices, weather forecasts, EMS partners, and metering data into one clean customer interface.
Support testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement for systems deployed at customer sites.

About the role
You will be responsible for the full operational flow behind our battery system sourcing, production and deliveries. This includes documentation, sourcing, supplier management, certification process handling, high level electrical project engineering, logistics, and coordination across engineering, production, and installation. Your work will ensure that our projects run smoothly from start to finish and that all technical requirements are met.


What you will do
Documentation & Manuals
Create and maintain project documentation, installation instructions, manuals, checklists, and wiring schedules.
Turn engineering inputs into complete, polished, customer-ready documents.

Certification & Compliance
Review standards and certifications (CE, EMC, electrical requirements, safety).
Interpret what these mean for our products and summarise required actions.
Maintain certification checklists and compliance documentation.

Sourcing & Supplier Management
Identify and evaluate suppliers for components, cables, CTs, electrical hardware, enclosures, and mechanical parts.
Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and supply agreements.
Manage RFQs, purchase orders, and delivery tracking.

Project Logistics & Coordination
Plan and manage shipping, freight, customs, scheduling, and installation logistics.
Ensure that all components arrive on time and match project needs.
Coordinate between engineering, production, suppliers, and installers.

Electrical Documentation Support
Build and maintain project engineering electrical schedules, cable lists, and related documents.
Work with electrical engineers to ensure all documents are accurate and up to date.

Who you are
Extremely structured, organised, and detail-oriented.
You enjoy documentation, planning, sourcing, and making sure everything is in the right place at the right time.
Strong communicator who works well with engineers, suppliers, and installers.
Comfortable reading technical specifications, wiring diagrams, and basic electrical information (CTs, cables, breakers).
